Dino J. Gallina

Dino J Gallina has been in motion picture production since 1995. He earned an Associates Degree in Digital Broadcast in 2001 from Brevard Community College, a Bachelors Degree in Cinema Studies from the University of Central Florida in 2005 and a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Film from the University of Central Florida in 2010.

Several of his short films and documentaries have won both audience and critical praise including R.U.B.s, which was in residence at the Orlando Museum of Art for 6 months. Promises that was a finalist in 2006 at the Third Screen Film Festival and continued to earn wins in 2007 at the Mobile Movie Festival.  It was recognized as a top ten selection at the shortsnonstop festival hosted by the Canadian Film Centre. Promises has been viewed on Nano, as well a distributed internationally through iThentic. Nano hosted a mobile festival that had more than 80 million consumer impressions on prominent web sites and social viral communities including the New York Times, USA Today, YouTube, MySpace, HollywoodReporter.com, Indieville.net, iFilm, and FilmFestivals.com.  

Dino’s first feature film Red Tide won “Best of Fest” at the New York Hell’s Kitchen Film Festival and earned an excellence of acting award, it was an "Official Selection" at the Central Florida Film Festival and winner of "Best Student Film" at the 2013 Fort Myers Beach Film Festival.  

Dino is currently a Professor in the Film Production MFA program at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL serving as Course Director of the Thesis II:  Production course.
